Snickerdoodle Cookies, from the Reed Orthodontics Cookie Cookbook

Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions
Mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
Mix rest of ingredients. Roll into balls. Roll in cinnamon/sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
