Dr. Charles Reed graduated with high honors in 1982 from Loyola University Dental School, Chicago, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He received the American Association of Orthodontists Award and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He entered Loyola University – Department of Orthodontics where he obtained a certificate of orthodontics in 1984.
Dr. Reed later researched the use of specialized imaging (MRI/CT) techniques to diagnose disorders of the jaw-joint (TMJ). This research has led to improved, non-painful and non-invasive methods for diagnosis which has become the standard today. Dr. Reed published this information as a contributing editor in a book on the diagnosis of TMJ disorders in 1990. He received his Masters of Science degree in 1991.
On the personal side, Dr. Reed has been living in the Denver area since 1987 with his wife and four children. He enjoys many outdoor activities including golf and scuba-diving. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family and donating time toward church service.
